Right, its mid afternoon, I’ve just seen a constituent who’s very concerned about pensions and the position of pension funds and I’ve agreed to discuss it further once he’s seen the latest reply I’ve had from the treasury on that. Very shortly I’m about  to go off and  meet with the Managing Director of Wimpey to try and resolve a very long running set of issues I’ve had with this property development company and local residents in Oakhurst whose lives have been blighted by lorries and the work going on around them. It’s very much a practical meeting. I hope we're going to get some practical solutions out of it, but sometimes it’s important not to just write letters but to meet people. So, I’m off to the meeting and I’ll report back on this blog after the meeting.
